👋 Hi, I'm Aditya
I'm Aditya Kamath, a roboticist and engineering consultant based in the Netherlands.
I moved from Mumbai to Eindhoven in 2015 to study at the Eindhoven University of Technology. What began as a Master’s in Systems and Control led to an Engineering Doctorate in Mechatronic Systems Design - and, along the way, pushed me towards a career as a generalist systems engineer and consultant.
I’ve been fascinated by robots since high school. Ever since I started engineering school in 2010, I’ve been building my own robots and writing software for them - first for student projects, then as a hobbyist, and eventually as a professional.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of sensors, actuators, and embedded systems for several robotic/mechatronic platforms. Since 2019, I’ve been part of the Dutch high-tech industry, working on increasingly complex industrial machines, with a strong focus on the photolithography sector.
When the world slowed down in 2020, I leaned hard into my robotics hobby. I started building ROS 2–based robots to sharpen my skills, experiment freely, and stay connected with the global robotics community. What began as a side project grew into a serious hobby - and eventually into a registered business.
This blog is where I document that journey. I share my builds, experiments, lessons learned, and ideas, connect with like-minded builders, and showcase the work I’m actively exploring.
I originally started writing at adityakamath.github.io, which is now archived but still packed with content I regularly revisit myself. This site is the next step in my blogging journey. More than just a blog, it’s my home base - part blog, part portfolio, and part landing page for my professional and business work.
If you’re interested in collaborating (including paid partnerships), building something together, or just talking robots, feel free to reach out.
Happy exploring 🚀
